This course will enable the students to learn plant tissue culture techniques as well as molecular techniques, analyze and interpret experimental results, and apply knowledge to address plant biotechnology challenges.

4. Preparation of MS medium
5. Callus Initiation from Arachis hypogeal L.
6. Multiple shoot proliferation in Citrus nodal segment
7. Callus differentiation and organogenesis
8. Apical meristem culture to raise virus free plants.
9. Digestion of DNA using restriction enzymes and analysis by agarose gel electrophoresis
10. Ligation of DNA fragments
11. Isolation of plasmid DNA.
