Objective: 

This course will enable the students to learn animal cell culture and genetic engineering techniques, analyze and interpret experimental results, and apply knowledge to address animal biotechnology challenges.

  1. Introduction to Animal Cell Culture and lay out of Animal Cell Culture Laboratory
  2. Hemocytometry
  3. Cell viability assay
  4. Restriction Digestion of Lambda DNA
  5. Ligation of Lambda DNA
  6. Demonstration of PCR
  7. Plasmid isolation
