CO 69: isolate and identify the microorganisms producing industrially important products.

CO 70: analyze the metabolic capability of microbes using biochemical tests.

CO 71: estimate the amount of lactic and ascorbic acid in dairy and fruit samples respectively.

CO 72:  understand the mushroom production technology.

  1. Isolation of industrially important microorganisms
    1. amylase producing microorganism
    2. protease producing microorganism
    3. lipase producing microorganism
  2. Isolation of antibiotic producing microorganism from soil
  3. Production of alcohol.
  4. Estimation of lactic acid in curd.
  5. Estimation of ascorbic acid.
  6. Demonstration for utilization of sugars by oxidation and fermentation by       microbes.
  7. Reduction of nitrate by microorganisms.
  8. Mushroom cultivation
  9. Isolation of Rhizobium from root nodules
  10. Morphology of mushrooms
